Gutters - Customized on location
Our "Factory On Wheels" actually manufactures continuous, one-piece guttering to the custom lengths your home requires. Baked acrylic enamel finish and quality aluminum coil formed into continuous guttering right at your front door. Exact lengths without seams ensures less chance of leakage and quality aluminum products ensure that rusting problems are eliminated forever.
We install 5" and 6" gutter systems with aluminum hidden hangers spaced every two lineal feet using a #10 1-1/2" pre-waxed screw. This larger and longer than normal screw will guarantee its stability, and the wax coating makes installation easier without damage to the fascia board.
We use pre-painted triple-coated Rezist™ #6 3/8" screw for all connections, whether it be on a downspout or a miter/corner. Many others use unpainted screws. Because of this, they must use a spray touch-up paint that is of a lesser quality. After several months, this spray paint leaves a dull finish which is faded and very noticeable.
Our strip miters now come with a reinforcement plate installed to prevent possible leaks. This plate not only strengthens the miter, but it also forces sealant into the seams.
We install all downspouts to the gutter with a flanged drop outlet that screws to the gutter and the downspout and has a bead of sealant around the top edge.
Many others use a "punch" which only tears the bottom of the gutter into an "X" shape. This does not allow the downspout to properly drain due to the reduced size of the opening.
Although our leaf guards come with a molded front edge to allow installation onto the top lip of a gutter, we also use screws to fasten the leaf guard permanently as extra reinforcement. This prevents them from falling inside the gutter or getting knocked out by a ladder or falling tree limb. Many others use no screws at all, leaving the leaf guards practically laying on top of the gutter.
