A: We carry Worker's Compensation to protect our employees and the homeowner! Plus, we carry 2 million in general liability!
Q: How long is your warranty?
A: 10 years to lifetime!
Q: Will the company be around to take care of any warranty problems?
A: WHI is an employee-owned corporation. If something happens to the principle owner, the company will continue.
Q: Do I want a written warranty from the company and the manufacturer?
A: WHI will provide you with that peace of mind.
Patio Covers
Q: What types of covers can WHI install?
A: The different types of patio covers we can install include carports, walkway covers, window awnings, Ultra Lattice shade structures, and screen rooms.
Q: Is insulation available?
A: Insulated covers have 3", 4", 5", and even 6" of insulating foam with aluminum adhered to each side.
Q: Is it possible to install a ceiling fan or lights?
A: Fan beams can be installed with each type of cover to allow the mounting of ceiling fans and/or lights.
Q: Why Ultra Lattice instead of wood?
A: Ultra Lattice shade structures look like perfectly cut, premium-grade wood - yet never needs paint or stain. Never warps, splits, or cracks. Won't burn or become infested with insects.
Patio Rooms
Q: What materials are used for your custom Patio Rooms?
A: Our sunrooms are custom-built with conventional wall systems with a variety of thicknesses, from 4" to 11" with an R value of R-19 to R-40+.
Q: What options exist for the interior?
A: The interior can consist of sheetrock, paneling (any style or color), rock, brick, wood, or any material you desire. We can also customize the knee wall with large variety of finishes, including aluminum, wood, or even vinyl that looks like rock or brick.
Q: What size rooms do you offer?
A: Any size you need! Our rooms are custom built. You are not limited to a certain type or size as we do not use room "kits".
Q: How good is the quality of the glass?
A: Our windows are Energy Star Rated and have up to a lifetime warranty. You can even have a lifetime glass breakage warranty, which can apply to any size and any style.

Q: How reliable are your vinyl replacement windows?
A: Premium extruded vinyl will not pit, peel, or chalk due to weather conditions. Additionally, the color of the vinyl is molded completely throughout the material so it will never need painting.
Q: What warranty do you offer for windows?
A: Our windows are backed by a lifetime warranty on workmanship and against glass breakage!
Q: How strong is the construction of the window casings?
A: All-welded frame and sash construction creates rigid, one-piece units for increased strength and weather resistance.
Q: Do you offer customizable options?
A: Our vinyl replacement windows offer a complete array of aesthetic, decorative, and performance possibilities for the most comprehensive line of windows on the market.

Q: What is your warranty for siding?
A: We offer a lifetime warranty on labor, installation, and materials for our siding!
Q: How durable is your vinyl siding?
A: Our siding never needs painting because vinyl won't rot, peel, or flake like wood. The thick vinyl panels are virtually dent-proof, even when faced with potentially damaging hail, and the durable construction stands up to changing temperatures and severe weather. The color goes completely through the panel, making scratches and scrapes virtually invisible.

A: Our outstanding service is backed by Alcoa™, Owens Corning®, Reynolds®, our exclusive Texas Pride, or our other manufacturers, who are the best names in the business.

Q: Do you use touch-up paint on gutter screws?
A: We use factory painted screws!
Q: Do you use touch-up paint if the gutter gets scratched during installation?
A: No! We discard that piece of gutter and make a new one!
Q: Do you use drop outlets for down spouts?
A: Yes!
Q: What size down spouts do you use for gutters?
A: 3" x 4"!
Q: What if my gutter leaks?
A: Our gutters are backed by a 10-year warranty on materials and lifetime warranty on labor!

Q: How durable are your shutters?
A: The 40 year warranty includes the finish, which is guaranteed to not stratch or fade!
